Grand Lake is a winter wonderland from December-March! Known as the snowmobile capital of Colorado, we've got hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails waiting for you. But that's just the beginning! From cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing, downhill skiing at Granby Ranch or Winter Park, horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice fishing, sledding and tubing hills, and the ever-popular free ice-skating in Grand Lake Village! Come experience Grand Lake's famous winter events from the Christmas tree lighting ceremony/parade/Santa debut, New Year's Eve fireworks, Winter Carnival, and the annual Pond Hockey tournament.
